About my holidays

January 25 – 28

Last week ,we learned how to form and pronounce the past tense. So to practice, I would like to hear about your holiday vacations!

For my Christmas vacation, I went to Canada. I saw three of my best friends, whom I missed very much! Most days, I visited friends who were home, and I ate really great food that my mom made. However, I was very glad to come back to Barcelona, because the weather in Toronto was freezing!

Now, how about you?

  1. For my winter holidays, I went to Lisboa, ten days. This is a romantic, nice city and beautiful people. The food is very cheap and very good.

  2. Hi Jorge,

That sounds like a very nice holiday! I was in Lisboa last summer, and I thought (think) it was (is) very beautiful too. I really liked (like) the pasteis de nata!

  3. Hello Karen!
I’m Adriana and this is my daily routine:

Every morning I get up at six a.m. I shower, I put my creams, I make up, I comb and I put the clothes. It is a ritual for me, I like it!
I don’t eat breakfast in my home, because I don’t have time.
I usually go to work at twenty-five past seven a.m. and I get to work at five to eight a.m.
I breakfast a white coffee and something to eat meanwhile I initiate the computer.
I am receptionist in Mutua Universal.
I leave the work to three p.m. and arrive at house at four p.m.
I eat lunch at the time of the tea, je!
Mondays and Wednesday in the evening I go to English of eight at half past nine and Tuesdays, Thursday and Friday to gym. I take dinner at around ten p.m. and finally I go to sleep between midnight and one a.m.

    Adriana
